CVN-80 Progress
I know this seems like a repetitive series, but I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel: the hangar bay is entirely full of aircraft. After adding three F-18s during the past several days, I think I'm ready for the tedious business of painting and gluing in about 50 crew members, as well as some additional cargo. I’m mindful that there are three elevators, and one of these will be down with an aircraft on it. The other two will be up, flush with the flight deck. Once the hangar is essentially complete, I'll move on to the ceiling and installation of LEDs. I’m sure that will be a process…
